Holy Trinity Students Collaborate with St. Charles College for Christmas Concert Rehearsal 🥁

Students at Holy Trinity Catholic School are spreading holiday cheer through music, thanks to a special collaboration with St. Charles College. Mme Rossi’s Grade 2 French Immersion class partnered with Ms. P. Demore and the instrumental music program at St. Charles College to prepare for their upcoming Christmas Concert.

During the rehearsal session, students gained hands-on experience with key musical concepts, including rhythm, timing, proper percussion techniques, and stage presence. Under the guidance of the St. Charles College music team, the young musicians worked diligently to perfect their performance of Jingle Bell Rock, which they will proudly showcase at this week’s Christmas Concert.

“We are incredibly grateful to Ms. Demore and the St. Charles College music program for sharing their time and expertise with our students. This experience not only strengthened their musical abilities but also highlighted the spirit of collaboration within our school community.”

This partnership between Holy Trinity and St. Charles College reflects the strong commitment to arts education and community connections within Sudbury Catholic Schools. The school looks forward to celebrating the students’ hard work and dedication at the upcoming concert.

Holy Trinity Students Learn About Advent Through Special Visit from Father Denis ⛪️

Today was a meaningful and faith-filled day for our Kindergarten students at Holy Trinity! We were blessed to welcome Father Denis into our classroom, where he shared the beauty and significance of the Advent season.

The children were eager to learn about the traditions of Advent, from the symbolism of the candles on the wreath to the ways we can prepare our hearts for the coming of Jesus. Through stories and reflection, Father Denis helped deepen our understanding of this special time of year.

We are so grateful for his visit and for the opportunity to grow in faith together. Thank you, Father Denis, for guiding us on this journey of hope, love, joy, and peace!
